Learn to Paint Gaming Miniatures

Date : May 25, 2017

Time : 6:30 pm

Have you always wanted to add some color to those boring grey plastic miniatures that came with your favourite board game? Now’s your chance to learn! This event is limited to 8 participants.

Our retail manager John Gallant will be running a short workshop to show you the basics of how to bring life to your miniatures. From priming, to base coat, to shading, and highlights, the 4 main steps of mini painting will be explored. We will be using paints from the Reaper miniatures gaming line which are water-based acrylics

This workshop is tailored for people that have little to no experience painting miniatures.
Supplies will be provided on site but if you have a miniature that you’d like to work on from home, please feel free to bring it!
Miniature painting isn’t extremely messy but to be on the safe side, you should wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.

This is a trial run to see how painting events will work at the Board Room and if it proves popular, it will be part of a regular rotation of awesome events!

The $5 stay-and play admission fee applies to this event. The free tickets below are just to track the limited seating
